How do I get Boost Protect?

Add Boost Protect to your device in your account online, in the Boost Mobile app or by contacting Boost Customer Care.


How much does Boost Protect cost per month?

Depending on your device, costs range anywhere from $8 to $18 (+applicable taxes) per month. For a breakdown by device tier and deductible, visit https://protect.likewize.com/boostmobile/ or call Boost Customer Care.


How do I file a claim?

You can file a claim by visiting https://protect.likewize.com/boostmobile/ or by calling (844) 834-5583. Claims should be filed by the primary account holder.

All claims, including damage, extended warranty issues, and loss/theft incidents must be reported within 30 days unless otherwise required by state law. For approved damage or malfunction claims, the replacement device will be sent with detailed information about how to return your damaged or malfunctioning device. If the device is not returned within 10 days of receiving your replacement, you will be charged a non-return fee up to the MSRP of the device at enrollment.


How much is the service fee or deductible?

Repair service fees are between $29 and $99, depending on your device tier and damage type. Replacement deductibles for lost or stolen devices range from $40 to $349, based on your device tier. Your service fee or deductible is set at purchase and is based on the market price of your device. Once enrolled, your service fee or deductible stays the same, even if the store price of your device changes. All costs, charges and fees are subject to applicable taxes.


Can I add Boost Protect to a device that wasn't purchased from Boost?

Yes, if you bring your own device (BYOD) to Boost, you can add Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services to an eligible device at the time you purchase your new service.

For iPhones, AppleCare Services may be available to eligible devices. In the event that your BYOD does not qualify for Boost Protect with AppleCare Services, Boost Protect may be offered to you.


When does my device protection start?

If you added Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services while purchasing your new device, or while purchasing a new line of service for a BYO device, your coverage kicks in when you activate your device.

If you added Boost Protect to an already active device after it was purchased (but within 30 days), your device protection will start as soon as you add it to your line of service.


What happens if I swap to another device?

Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services is linked to a specific device. If you purchase a new device from Boost, you will have the chance to add Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services to your new device for up to 30 days. Simply remove the device protection from your old device and add it your new device by calling Boost Customer Care.


How long does it take to get a repair or replacement once I file a claim?

Once your claim is approved, you will be provided with convenient repair options based on your device, location and type of damage. Repairs can be completed as soon as the next business day. If your device was lost, stolen or unrepairable, a replacement device will be shipped to an address of your choice. Replacement devices are shipped to arrive on the 2nd business day.


What happens to my device protection if my service is interrupted?

Your device protection will be placed on hold while your account is past due. Device protection will not take effect again until your next paid billing cycle. Protection is not available for canceled lines of service.


How do I update or cancel my Boost Protect coverage?

You may update or cancel your device protection at any time by contacting Boost Customer Care.

**Service coverage is available only for iPhone or for batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements. There are no service fees or deductibles for mechanical failures.
