Step 1: Select Your New Phone:

Once a line is eligible for its upgrade, go to your account online or in the app, select the eligible line and tap Upgrade.

Step 2: Activate Your New Phone

When your new phone arrives, activate it in a few easy steps. Then factory reset your old phone, turn off Find My iPhone and wipe your data.

Step 3: Ship Your Old Phone

We'll send you a box to return your old phone. Pack it safely with the included bubble wrap and mail it via USPS (a prepaid label will be included on the box). Once we receive your trade-in, we'll evaluate it and send you a confirmation email with your trade-in's results.

How will my trade-in be evaluated?

We keep it simple. Phones can fall into 1 of 3 buckets: Good Condition, Minor Damage and Major Damage. Learn more.

My trade-in is damaged, should I send it in?

Your trade-in needs to be in good working condition. If you have Boost Protect with AppleCare Services on your phone, and your trade-in is damaged, we recommend filing a claim to avoid any fees. Note: once received, all trade-ins are final.

How long does the trade-in process take?

Once we receive your trade-in, please allow 5 days to process.

Can I trade-in a phone that isn't the one I originally purchased?

Trade-ins that are the same make and model or better will be accepted.

Can I upgrade and keep my old phone?

Yes, but you'll be required to pay the remaining balance on the loan associated with your old phone.

Will Boost Protect transfer to my new phone?

During checkout, you'll have the opportunity to purchase Boost Protect to protect your new phone. Once you've activated your new phone, the Boost Protect coverage on your old phone will be automatically removed.
