RCS Chats

RCS chats by Google provides Boost Mobile users with access to rich communication services (“RCS”) messaging. While RCS chats is marketed by Boost Mobile or our affiliates, it is administered and provided by Jibe Mobile, Inc. or its affiliates. Jibe Mobile Inc. is a Google affiliate, located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Boost Mobile is not responsible for the performance (or non-performance) of RCS chats and makes no representations or warranties as to its functionality or ability to meet your needs or intended purposes. You are contracting with Jibe Mobile, Inc. and therefore, any dispute you have relating to or in connection with your use of RCS chats is between you and Jibe Mobile, Inc. and you agree that you will look solely to Jibe Mobile, Inc. to arbitrate, litigate or otherwise resolve any such dispute.

By using RCS chats, you agree to the Google Terms of Service, Google Privacy Policy, and the RCS chats terms (collectively, the “Terms of Service”). RCS chats allows you to message others at their telephone numbers, so messages will go through Google and, in some cases, through other service providers (like carriers or other messaging apps) to reach those telephone numbers. You agree that your device and your contacts’ devices may occasionally be checked for RCS capabilities to ensure you can receive RCS chats. Google may occasionally exchange your device information (including device identifiers or SIM card information) with your carrier to verify your telephone number (SMS charges may apply) and to provide RCS chats. You may incur data charges in connection with the use of RCS chats. These Terms of Service do not apply to any features and services provided by your carrier (e.g., carrier calling and messaging, including SMS and MMS). You can discontinue your use of RCS chats by turning off RCS messaging within the Settings application on iOS devices or the Messages by Google application on Android devices.

If your telephone number country code is from the European Economic Area or Switzerland, then RCS chats are provided by, and you’re contracting with, Jibe Mobile Limited, located at 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland, in which case this Terms Summary applies.
