Payment Extension
Need More Time to Pay? We Get It.
Life doesn’t pause. Neither should your service. A little extra time can make a big difference. For a small fee, Boost Mobile gives you the flexibility to pay later—so you can keep streaming, scrolling, and staying connected without missing a beat.
What is a Payment Extension?
You can extend your payment due date by 5 days for just $10 per line if you are on a No Contract account. Your service stays active, so you can text, make calls and use data.
Make your monthly payment in full within the 5 days and get $5 per line credited back.
How much does it cost?
You'll pay $10 per line up front. Then we'll credit $5 per line back to you on your full monthly payment if you make it on or before the new due date.
How do I set-up a Payment Extension?
Easy, you can set-up a Payment Extension right on your dashboard in the Boost Mobile App or in your account online. Go to Request Payment Extension and follow the prompts to get your Payment Extension.
When can I ask for an extension?
You can request a Payment Extension anytime during your billing cycle before your due date, or even after your service is already suspended (as long as it’s within 15 days of the suspension).
If you request a Payment Extension before your payment due date, your 5-day extension will automatically kick in at the end of your current billing cycle.
My service is already off. Can I still get an extension?
Yes! You can set-up a Payment Extension within 15 days of your original due date.
Will my phone work normally during my Payment Extension?
Absolutely - you'll be able to make calls, send texts and use data and add-ons.
How much data do I have during the 5 day period?
If your regular plan has more than 5GB of high-speed data, you’ll be able to use up to 5GB from your monthly allotment during your Payment Extension period. If you exceed 5GB of data in this period, you may experience slower speeds.
If your plan has a set amount of data that is less than 5GB, your full monthly allotment will be available during the Payment Extension period.
Is my device still covered if I have Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services?
Yes, any existing Boost Protect or Boost Protect with AppleCare Services coverage will stay active.
What happens to my Autopay if I get a Payment Extension?
When you schedule a Payment Extension, we’ll automatically move your Autopay date to the 5th (and final) day of your extension. Next month, your Autopay date goes back to its original date.
I don’t need my Payment Extension anymore. Can I cancel it?
Yes, you can. If you make your full payment before your original due date (before the 5-day extension period even starts), we’ll automatically cancel the extension. Note: The amount you paid for your Payment Extension will be credited towards your full monthly payment.
Are all account types eligible for a Payment Extension?
Payment Extensions are only available on No Contract (prepaid) accounts.
What happens if I don't pay by the end of the 5 days?
Your service will be suspended (or stay suspended) until you pay your bill in full. Additionally, you won't be eligible to receive a $5 credit/line when you make your full payment.
Can I get another extension right after this one?
You're only eligible for one Payment Extension per billing cycle.
