How does my account change if I add an iPad plan?
If you are currently on a No Contract account, we’ll switch you to a Buy Now, Pay Later account. Buy Now Pay Later accounts:
- Receive a monthly itemized bill
- Require Autopay
- Have a payment due date 15 days after your billing cycle begins
If you already have a Buy Now, Pay Later Account, nothing changes.
I'm already with Boost Mobile. Can I add an iPad to my account?
Absolutely! Existing customers can add a new line for an iPad. Shop iPad plans.
How do I activate my iPad?
Before you begin, make sure you update your iPad to the latest version of iOS.
If you purchase an iPad from Boost and get a new number, activate directly on your iPad
- Turn your iPad on and follow the on screen instructions.
- You’ll receive a Finish Cellular Setup notification after the initial setup process. Tap Boost Plan → Continue when you see the Activate eSIM pop-up. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM installation. Note: If you don’t see the notification, go to Settings → Cellular Data → Boost Plan → Continue. Tap Done when complete.

If you are bringing your own iPad or keeping your iPad’s number from your previous carrier, you can activate in the Boost Mobile app or on the web.

2. Select Keep Current Number or Get New Number. If you keep your number from your existing iPad on your previous carrier, you will need to provide additional account information from your previous carrier to complete activation.
3. After you finish your plan activation on your iPad, you should see a notification to Install your eSIM. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM installation.
Note: If you don’t see the notification, go to Settings → Cellular Data → Boost Plan → Continue. Tap Done when complete.

2. Choose Get New Number or Keep Existing Number to keep the number currently associated with your iPad from your previous carrier.
3. After you finish your plan activation on your iPad, you should see a notification to Install your eSIM. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM installation.

How do I set up my Boost Mobile eSIM on my iPad?
eSIM setup is easy! First, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi. After you finish setting up your iPad, you should see a notification to Install your eSIM.
If you don’t see the notification, go to Settings → Cellular Data → Boost Plan → Continue. Tap Done when complete.
